Backstage Wing - Little Wing shoot Day 2

Day 2 of the Little Wing/Amy Brandon/Emma Fletcher shoot. It was pouring with rain outside for most of today but we were nicely sheltered as the boys kindly lent us their rehearsal room to shoot in, it made a great setting! Here are some iPhone shots from today, we're very excited to see the finished images! I had a lot of fun styling this and Amy did some fantastic make up looks that really worked with the concept. And, again, Emily looked FIERCE!

Bridal Wing

So I was up bright and early this morning for the second Little Wing/Amy Brandon shoot with the lovely Emma Fletcher - finally shooting some images for the (coming soon) Little Wing Bridal site! We went for two looks, one rather elegant Bardot/Hepburn look and a classic Little Wing barefoot and boho look. Emily (who has now become the Little Wing face!) looked amazing as always and we had lots of quirky little locations to shoot at the Cantley Hotel.

We are back with the cameras and feathers tomorrow for a much more edgy glam rocking shoot to head into Autumn!

Some 'behind the scenes' photos for ya.

What a difference a day makes...

Congratulations to my great friends Sarah and Nathan, who tied the knot yesterday. Sarah is one of my oldest friends from way back when at school so it was a very emotional day, first of the girls to get hitched! I was so honoured to be asked to do a reading at their wedding service and enjoyed every minute of the day, Sarah looked stunning and had really set the standard for a classy wedding!

Sonis-fun

We rounded off our holiday week with a day at Sonisphere Festival. Froucy and I usually do the whole weekend but as we had the holiday we just went down on the Sunday and my boyfriend's band were playing that day too. Typically, as this is Britain, it rained which added to the holiday blues, but we had a great day all the same with great food from Katie's Thai Kitchen of course (had to do a shout out for Froucy's favourite eatery!) The guys played a couple of acoustic sets and then a main set on the Jager stage, much fun. I know I sound biased but the new stuff is amazing, I encourage you all to have a listen and also check out the album when it comes out in September. Have a listen to one of the new tracks HERE.

Here's a couple of videos from the day, first one is from Gibson and the other one is my own - hence the terrible filming! Other highlights of the day were Bill Bailey doing a Rammstein version of Scarborough Fair and also Mad Dog on the Jager stage, sounded really old school which I enjoyed, so I bought their demo CD. FUN TIMES!

Boots 'n Rings

Ohhhh hiii, look what arrived today. My latest boot purchase, I had to have them obviously. The nubuck leather is so lovely and smells amazing. I feel very Brian Jones when I put them on, something about the shape, mm mm.

I also bought two lovely rings from Sonisphere Festival this weekend, we always love checking out the steel jewellery stalls. At Download I bought an awesome skull head belly bar but I have no pictures of that. The skull ring I bought at Sonisphere is very Great Frog-esque and the amber gem ring reminds me of the rings that my Granny wears, I love it. Speaking of The Great Frog the girls at work very generously gave me a voucher to buy something new from there so I am looking forward to making a trip up to Carnaby Street soon and picking something out.

Excuse my gnarly sun-freckled hands. Gosh I wonder how they'll look when I'm actually old!

Elle on film

I just found this on YouTube - thought I'd share because it's quite funny, especially my massive face at 27secs. We stayed in the office all night filming this, it was fun! 59 seconds of fame haha (although this blows my post about jobs but never mind..)

Holiday, celebrate

Just back from a lovely holiday in Calahonda with a bunch of amazing people. I went with two families where all the boys are brothers and best friends and all the girls (who are the boys girlfriends - yes this is very complicated to explain!) are all great friends too. Holiday blues have kicked in...

And here's the holiday song - the girls and I ended up dancing around in my room to this after getting back from dinner followed by dipping our feet into the pool under the stars :). Lovely xxx
