Wild Child

I adore this. I love how the Wildfox-cool even translates to childrenswear.

The quirky illustrations just add to the sheer brilliance!

Whistles and Penguin

I love the collaboration that Whistles have done with Penguin books. Classics dressed in new limited edition covers. One of things I really enjoyed when I worked at Whistles was that there was always the opportunity to do something really different and quirky, and this is definitely different. How beautiful would the books looked stacked on your bookshelf.

Andy Pandy's coming to play

I wore what I call my 'Andy Pandy Shirt' out for dinner last night. It's a little vintage number I bought a few years ago at one of my friend Lucy's Sue Ryder sales. I love the neck tie, sometimes I tie it into a bow to make even more Pandy-esque!

After a week of stomping around in ankle boots I gave my feet a rest and threw on my Converse. Can't beat a good pair of Converse, they go with everything. The leopard print high tops are on my shopping list.

Alternative storage

When you own as many scarves as I do (mainly leopard print as this photo would suggest...) it becomes a struggle to find somewhere nice to keep/display them other than shoved in a box or hung in the wardrobe. But I found an alternative solution when I experimented tying them onto the banisters in our attic room! I have more to hang so I think our stairs will end up surrounded by print and colour - which can never be a bad thing!

Where's the Sunshine?

I want the sun to come back out because I'm dying to wear my new printed dress out and about with a big hat and a tan. I'm not sure that red snakeskin and bright florals should be mixed, but what the hell, I love this combination.

Over the hills and far away...

Well this is just fabulous. New look book shots from Alida Buffalo.

Kiss Them For Me

Was listening to the School of Seven Bells cover of this today when I was signing off the Toppers store playlist. Turn it up loud and have a boogie.

Coachella Queen

Obligatory Coachella post. The one time of year when Kate Bosworth gets shit loads of press - but she does always look so good. Effortlessly cool and oh so gorgeous, unlike some of the try-hards *coughParisHiltoncough*.

I cannot wait for another Download fest with Froucy this year. Bring on no work, summer nights, beer in hand, LOUD music and, the Black Album.

Bit of Broderie

I'm not usually a girly dress girl but I loved this little broderie anglaise number. This is actually a size 20 - so either I've put on a LOT of weight or, as Lucy said, perhaps it's meant to be a top. Anyway, as usual I threw my manky old pleather over it. Yesterday was cold so I teamed it with black tights, boots and a red leopard scarf and a while before, on a sunny day, I got my knock knees out and threw on my metallic t-bars.

Brunette

For a while now I've been so tempted to dye my hair brown. I've been blonde for so long, with a bright red stint in between, but now I'm starting to get bored with it. Then I saw this photo set on Studded Hearts today and wanted to do it even more! Although, sadly it won't make me look like the chick in this photo.

Welcome to Miami

I'm not usually one for sweaters, or pink, but I had to have this. A bargain at £6 from Primark, the jersey is SO soft and I like that it's a bit Wildfox-esque. It's been perfect to lounge in over Easter.

Rob Scrace Illustration

So pleased with my new print by Rob Scrace - so so talented. I put in an order as soon as I saw it and it's now hanging up in my room.

Check out his work here and here

Get your rocks off

My room looks an absolute state...

I had one of those great nights on Friday - we went out for a pub night and end up having an all singing, all dancing blast of a night out until the early hours. We went to our classic, the After Dark (that I've probably mentioned a million times) only this time it was all 60s and 70s classic rock - it was a BLAST! I love my girl friends.

I wore some DIY denim cut offs and a black body - although as we were originally mainly pub drinking I threw a knitted jumper on top to tone it down a little bit. I've had these red stilettos for years but I've recently rediscovered them. They're great for adding a pop of colour, plus they feel a little racyyyy.

Buyers Remorse...

Yes, it's a week since pay day and I'm already skint... but how could I not? I only popped into H&M to look for little presents for my sister and ended up leaving with these.

I'm a bloody magpie for boots.

Harleys and Bikers

... and severe creases.

I can't do girly skirts. So I like to toughen them up with t-shirts and/or biker jackets. This pleather jacket was a cheap Primark purchase about five years ago but it became the most precious item in my wardrobe! The lining is ripped and the neck is wearing away but I can't get rid of it.

Sorry, I'm like a broken record. But she's awesome, so here are a couple more images to gawk at

Thank you Zara

I'm so chuffed with my new bargain bag from Zara. I don't use many bags, I'll change to a smaller cross body or a clutch for a night out but day to day I always use my black soft leather tote - it's classic and holds everything (I carry a lot of shit).

Anyway, when I came across this I thought it was the perfect, minimalist summer bag for me - then I spotted the price tag. At only £19.99 I felt like I was robbing them as I swiped one and rushed to the till. It is PU but it's the most realistic looking faux leather bag I've had, plus it's really comfortable to carry even when it's weighed down by all my junk. My only regret is not buying it in black...

Blue Jeans

I've been getting a little bored of skinny jeans. Partly because I've put on quite a bit of chunk around my thighs and bum in the last year and so I find them more uncomfortable now but mainly because I've been wearing them with everything ever since I strayed from my penchant for boot cuts and flares in my late teens. So I'm loving my new tapered boyfriend jeans from Topshop. I bought them a little bit big on the waist so they're comfortable rather than tight as I slowly expand, and the slightly baggy legs are much more forgiving. The wash and rips also make for a great pair of jeans.

The skinnies will stay forever though, most likely. But I might move on to stretch cotton!
