Just returned from a lovely holiday to Crete where there was lot of sun, sea and sand. Heaven. Typically for me, I didn't completely relax unfortunately as I have way too much on my anxious brain at the moment but this was the perfect remedy for seven days. The area was a lot more tourist-y than we expected (not really our bag) but we were a stones throw from the beach and we also found a great little beach bar with a band that played loads of classic rock songs. One night we sat down to dinner with my/our favourite song Nothing Else Matters playing, so we had found the right place! We also stumbled across the Crete Hells Angels HQ by accident which I bloody loved. Oh - and there were so many cats and kittens - LOVED IT! Take me back.
I can't wait to go and see the Rolling Stones photography exhibition at Somerset House. I had a LFW meeting there today and saw the first room, tried not to look at anything else while I was there - saving it for the weekend. If only I had been there a week earlier when Keith was roaming the halls!
A peek at why I've been a bit out of blogging for a while, well aside from the fact that my job is insanely busy right now (*cries*). As I mentioned a while ago I have been working on a new blog, inspired by a campaign I have been managing for the last few months at work. It will be full of styling inspiration, DIYs, upcycling projects and vintage/second hand delights. Link coming soon!
Ages ago I was contemplating dying my hair. I've only just taken the leap and gone brunette! Had it for a week now and so far I'm loving it. Smothering it in Morrocan Argan oil to try and tame the wiry frizz from all the bleach I had before.
Froucy and I FINALLY got to see Kiss after all this time on Wednesday. It was an intimate charity gig for Help for Heroes at the Kentish Town Forum. Probably one of the best gigs I've ever been to. As much as we both feel on a bit of a downer about life at the moment, the moment we get into an amazing gig, start singing and dancing and guitar leg-ging our hearts out none of that matters :)
