MARY KATRANTZOU AND MEADHAM KIRCHOFF TODAY - WHAT A BRILLIANT END TO FASHION WEEK. MARY'S COLLECTION WAS FILLED WITH BEAUTIFUL, ARTISTIC DRESSES THAT WOULDN'T LOOK OUT OF PLACE ON THE COUTURE CATWALK. THE STRIKING PRINTS FEATURED EVERY DAY OBJECTS LIKE PENCILS AND TYPEWRITERS - GENIUS. I LOVED THE AIRY DRESSES WITH LAYERS AND LAYERS OF BEAUTIFULLY LIGHT SILK.
AND TO FINISH - MEADHAM KIRCHOFF. IF THERE WAS EVER A SHOW THAT MADE ME WANT TO SHRIEK WITH DELIGHT IT WAS THIS. THE PRE-SHOW PLAYLIST WAS PACKED WITH GLAM ROCK AND 80S CLASSICS (WE HAD A CASSANDRA MOMENT WHEN THE SWEET CAME ON) AND THE CATWALK WAS COVERED IN TINSEL AND GIANT DISCO LIGHTS AND PATTERNS WERE PROJECTED AGAINST THE WALLS.
THE COLLECTION WAS BY FAR MY FAVOURITE - OBVIOUSLY, AS IT WAS FULL OF SEQUINS, SPARKLE AND GLITTER. THE MODELS STOMPED THEIR WAY DOWN THE CATWALK IN VICTORIANA GLITTER PLATFORM BOOTS - I ACTUALLY PLAN TO SAVE UP TO BUY A PAIR OF THOSE BEAUTIES. MY FAVOURITE, SHRIEK WORTHY, OUTFITS INCLUDED A RAINBOW ZIG-ZAG FULL SEQUINNED SUIT AND A SEQUINNED BODY. WOW WOW WOW!
NOW I LOOK FORWARD TO GETTING BACK TO MY NORMAL ROUTINE AND BACK TO MY CREATIVE POST-WORK PROJECTS. EVENINGS HAVE BEEN OUT OF BOUNDS FOR THE LAST WEEK!
